We have a busy calendar of events; Our students and the teachers plan, organize, execute regular cultural and other festivals, assembly programmes and competitions throughout the year .
The school provides facilities for a number of co-curricular activities designed to develop communication and perceptual skills apart from proper utilization of leisure. It also gives the students experience of fellowship and mutual-aid which are essential ingredients of balanced personality. Students enthusiastically take part in most of the competitions and exhibit their talents.
Controller of examination, C.B.S.E DELHI
A mock drill was conducted on 11 February, 19 for the teachers who are engaged in Board exam activities with regard to the preparation for ensuring smooth conduction of Board Examination 2019.
A fascinating, fun and interactive Planetarium show was organized in our school premises for classes Nursery to VI on 20th February 2019.It took the learners on a journey through space. The children learnt amazing facts about the solar system and also about incredible neighboring planets.
Mathrubasha Diwas (Telugu Day)
Mathrubasha Diwas was celebrated on 21 February, 19 to promote linguistic and cultural diversity. There were a chain of programmes such as poems, songs, dance performances and speeches. All the children participated enthusiastically and made the programme a great success. Farewell
A grand farewell ceremony was arranged in honour of the outgoing students of class X by the students of class IX on 22 February, 19. The ceremony began with a prayer followed by the message to the children by our beloved Correspondent Smt Soumini Reddy garu who blessed them and distributed the hall-tickets.
A conversation down memory lane, entertainment programmes and hearts touching speeches were also the part of the event.
There was a photo session where children had the opportunity to take photos along with their classmates.
All the children of class X had taken a group photo and then section wise photos were taken along with the teachers.
Trips were organized by the school for the classes I to IX to different places and on different dates in the month of February. The children enjoyed the trip and had lot of fun under the escort of teachers.

National Science Day
National Science Day was celebrated in our school on 28 February , 19 . Children presented a role play on the concept ‘The Solar System’, few innovative experiments and speeches on various Science topics were given. The students have participated with great enthusiasm and the performances were highly appreciable. The entire event helped the students to develop scientific temper and attitude and to bring out their creativity to prove their talents.
Staff Orientation Programme
After the summer vacation, a period of rest and recreation, the teachers were eager to go back to school but the transition from holidays to work became easier with the Staff Orientation Programme organized by the Management from 1 June, 19 to 8 June, 19 in the AVS room of the School Premises. This programme helped the staff to rejuvenate themselves to work with new spirit.
Yoga Day Celebrations
Yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition. It brings harmony between human and nature and a holistic approach to health and well-being. Regular practice of yoga will help students to achieve a better life physically, mentally and spiritually.
International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21 June, 19 by the students of our school with great enthusiasm. Our correspondent encourages students to practice yoga regularly to remain fit and to improve concentration. Students from V to IX demonstrated various asanas like

Bhagavad Gita Sloka Chanting:
To spread positive vibes in the premises of the school, Bhagavad Gita Sloka Chanting Programme was introduced on 24 June, 2019.Children practice Bhagavad Gita Slokas regularly in the assembly with the help of Sanskrit teachers.
Annual Staff Dinner
The Annual Dinner is one of the school’s largest events which combine all sections of the school with about 150 teaching and non-teaching staff of B.V. Reddy School.
Thus, we had our Annual Staff Dinner of this Academic year on 26 June , 19 in our school premises.
It was an opportunity for the staff to share happiness and to have fun in the presence of our beloved Correspondent Smt. Soumini Reddy Garu and this helped to foster close relationship among B.V.Reddians.
Physical Education Training workshop – 2019
KHELO INDIA Regional Level Training Workshop was conducted on 29th June, 2019 at Akshara School, NFCL compound, East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh by CBSE –Sports Authority of India (SAI). Mr. A.Suman Prem Chand, Mr. M Babu Prasanth and Mrs. K. Rajani from our school attended the workshop.
School Sports Federation conducted District level Subrota Cup Football Tournament on 6 July 2019. For under 14 boys at Mesanical ground and for under 17 boys at PVKN Degree College Ground. Both the teams stood as runner-ups.
Vegetables & Fruits Day
To promote conceptual learning, students of LKG celebrated Vegetables & Fruits Day on 31 July, 19.The children explained the importance of fruits and vegetables intake in diet for mental and physical growth. The tiny tots also learnt more about the taste, smell, color and texture of each fruit and vegetable.
Children also sang the fruit and vegetable rhyme with great zest, enthusiasm and vigor and enjoying the moments of joy and happiness on this special day. Children were found to be quite thrilled and were positive on the fact that vegetables and fruits are better than junk food.
The students of UKG celebrated Pink Day on 31 July, 19.It was wonderful to see our children bloom and blossom in different shades of pink.
The young ones came dressed in pink color and brought pink color objects which were displayed in the class. The Black Board and the walls of the class were decorated in pink depicting the impact of the color in our lives.
The blooming buds enjoyed a lot and it was indeed a visual treat to witness little ones glowing in pink. Thus the purpose of celebration of Pink Day was fulfilled.
